The overall impression is very nice.
I'm not okay with wood textures on the windows. The real window frame is made from horizontal and vertical beams and each of them has a wood grain paralel to the long edge.

quick office interior
hi all :) long time, no see. This is my last work. Quick, weekend job. It's not real, serious design but some impression pictures for sell / retail purposes. I'm pretty satisfied but of course I'm also open for criticism and remarques :) People and and everything outside windows is photoshoped, rest...

Re: revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
Thank You again.
I believe, I just have to install both revit and exporter and just to see how it works
I have also completely off topic question: is this wheel in Your avatar from volvo amazon? Ventilation holes seem to be right but the wheel cup is more like from vw beetle.

Re: revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
thx Oscar :) I hope this would work, but want to be sure. To be more precise: My first concern is if older exporter (written for Indigo 3) will work with Indigo 4 (it should work with export to .igs file, but what about more direct way?) The second one is, if there's properly working exporter for re...

revit 2012 architecture + current Indigo
Hi all, I'm indigo user for a long time but with sketchup/skindigo. Now I'm about to buy 2 revit 2012 architecture licenses from my colleague who's closing his office (sadly for him). My current workflow is: import 2d plans/sections from autocad -> building 3d model in sketchup -> export model via s...

Nice mood!
Something bothers me in that tree, though. I'm not sure what is it.

Re: series of houses
Thanks guys for your comments. The sky is too dark for the lighting on the model... I totally agree. For me it's one of those things which are not obvious until someone point them. About dirt, cracks, staining etc... It's real but on the other hand shouldn't we think about archviz little like about ...

Re: Finished Artwork - Render to Real
great renders, design and idea of the post.
I'm aware that lot of people does some abstract renders or for fun, but archviz should always have this kind of prologue.

Re: series of houses
A few minor points if I may... That's why I posted this. To get some c&c and to get better. Also, the paint on the car looks a tiny bit like plastic. Yeah it's simple phong material. I didn't know it's noticeable since the car is rather small in the picture (no closeup) Maybe put some lights on ins...

Re: Volkswagen Touareg hybrid
Hi sofianefatou, Nice renders. Here are some thoughts i have, if you like: 1. Environment. The lighting and reflections suggest external environment. The floor is like from studio or underground parking. Try to give some asphalt (as oscar_j said) or pavement material. The background image is pretty ...

Re: series of houses
Good point. Thanks to You I also noticed that there was to much of the ground and not enough of the sky. I can't change the texture on the fly, but composition question is easy to repair - see attachement.Oscar J wrote:The only thing that makes it look slightly CG is the low resolution road texture

series of houses
Hi everyone, I've just started to work on the whole series of recreation, single-family and duplex houses. In this thread I'd like to present the results to all of You and get some constructive criticism to improve my skills. Design, modelling, rendering and postproduction are by me. Sketchup + indi...

Re: emitter size / light distribution issue
thank You Zom-B for such fast answer! I have few more question though (for You or anyone who can answer). 1. what is a relation between emitter power and area? If I have first emitter 1m2 and other 0,1 m2 then should i set 10x more power to smaller one? Does it work that way or is it more complex? 2...
