Re: Indigo Renderer 3.4.6

Thanks for this new release. No more error message at loading ! Well, I have to convert all my textures, because I am used to use bmp each time transparency is not required (png if transparency required), and indigo seem to not support bmp... I have to set also again all my materials because my whol...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

I did other trial export/render and confirm that unused materials are a problem. Not in the exporter, but in indigo itself where they give blocking error messages. It is really a problem, mainly because the first unused material stops the loading process and so the other messages if there are some. ...

Re: Error message when loading scene. Meaning what ?

I have just finished uploading the complete blend file and sent the link to Nick. I hope that you will be able to find the trouble and that I will finally be able to use indigo. I will have to learn it almost from scratch, because as I almost never achieved to open a scene without being blocked by e...

Error message when loading scene. Meaning what ?

Hi, I get this error message when loading a scene with a big model with many objects and materials.

Checked, and there are no more unused materials.

I don't undestand the meaning of the error message.

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

Thank you very much for the fast reaction ! I have just tested the new Blendigo release on my full Routemaster model file. It exported fine without error message. However, i am still not able to render in indigo. When loading in indigo, i get this kind of messages : Error; Scene parsing error : Erro...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

Of course, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. We just need to make sure we track down the reasons why it doesn't work so it can be fixed. Of course. indigo is a great renderer. Its gallery speaks for itself, and it is the reason why I would really like to use it, but I always have co...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

EDIT: Just to clarify, the file name that is 8 lines long (in your above post where you highlighted the first 2 lines in red) contains the names of all the materials used by that model, which doesn't really make sense if the materials get exported separately anyway. I had understood that Blendigo d...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

Thanks in advance.

I forgot to say that layer 1 is the layer with the trouble : can't be exported.

Other layers can be exported separately or together as well without problem.

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

I have just uploaded the blend file here (around 100MB) : http://3d-synthesis.com/BlenderTests/AECindigo005.blend I had already written a post, but the bandwidth may have been to narrow for upload and forum together, and I have lost the connection. I hope that all texture are inside the blend. Pleas...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

The Object and Mesh name are the same : DoubleDecker

What could be the trouble with that name ? I tried to use different names for mesh and object, with no difference, except that the error line path displays the new mesh name first, as expected.

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

No, it is not the file name ! The blender file name is AECindigo003.blend ! I dont think that 12 characters is unusual for a file name. And I used no special character or space. This is the name displayed by Blendigo ! And it is the path of the folders and files created by Blendigo. Not my choice. I...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

@StompinTom Thanks for your suggestion. I am back on my workstation and I have finally selected a part of the project that shows the problem. The blend file still weights 100MB, compressed. I have kept just the external hull of my recently modeled Routemaster double decker bus, and a sun lamp. At ex...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

The only thing that may not be usual in my current project is that the main models have been modelled in part in Blender 2.49b and appended in 2.63a. The hosting file itself has been created in 2.49b,and all its content (the whole scene) appended in 2.63a. But I always had troubles at export with ot...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.2.14.0

I perfectly understand that you need some material to help me. I will investigate more if i can, but due to a lack of time I have each time to forget indigo for a while in the hope that a next release will have solved the problem. I would really want to see what I can get off indigo for my projects,...
