Re: Indigo for Revit Architecture
Well, the ones rendered directly from Revit (and not from a Revit-model exported to Blender) are for the currently ongoing EUROPAN14 competition, so no, not yet...

Re: Indigo for Revit Architecture
I have done some competition images using revit and Indigo, but those are obviously photoshopped to hell and back. But it's totally usable, and the ease of just rendering directly from Revit instead of exporting and building all materials again is helpful. And the fact that you can render material i...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.47 Beta Release
The default .jpg image quality seems to be set on lowest possible setting.
I lost one render because I closed Indigo without checking the saved image... Luckily Indigo is so fast it didn't take long to crank out a new one :)

Re: Indigo renders in strange intervals
the way I noticed it maybe a couple of years ago (when I was using a computer with very limited memory), each light layer was basically it's own full-resolution uncompressed 32bit bitmap.
That is, HUGE
I don't know if that has changed since.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I bought a new monitor, so I had to re-render one of my old scenes in larger resolution to get new desktop wallpaper. Also played around some with the light layers to get some more color in it. It's a part of a visualization I made for a concept for a parametric design course I had a couple of years...

Re: Jack in the box
The point of lifting furniture up from the ground is to fake the shadow that forms between the object and the floor. In reality that shadow is formed by bevel, but often you can't be bothered to model that kind of detail, so faking it is the next best thing. In close-ups like that there really isn't...

Still no love for Revit 2015 even after the new release?

Revit 2015
Doesn't seem to be much action on this part of the forum, but is there a Revit 2015 plugin in works, or alternatively some clever method of getting the 2014 version to work on 2015?

Re: Best hardware for Indigo, i5 vs i7, Quadro vs. GTX
Thanks for the reply and confirming what I thought. The offer I asked for already included lots of ram and an SSD, so I should be good there, too.
Only difference is that I'm not really comfortable with overclocking, so I guess I'll have to simply settle for a fast i7.

Best hardware for Indigo, i5 vs i7, Quadro vs. GTX
I'm currently looking for a new computer for personal use and asked for an offer from a local hardware store. Their offer included i5-4670K and Quadro 2000 (1 Gb), which stroke me as quite odd. Of course I told them I use my computer for architectural CAD work which would explain the Quadro (though ...

Re: Revit 2014 ???
Do you have ETA on this? We are evaluating our rendering pipeline in the office I work at, and I'd love to showcase indigo to the others.

Re: Simple Interiors Thread
Yeah. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: the simple renderings thread (and this one) should be in the "Finished artwork" forum, and some sort of "random WIP, comments and critics" thread should be started on it's place. Starting a new thread for a not so great project while pros post amazin...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.63) 3.4.9.1
I got the section plane working. Got a bit trouble before finding out that it uses the object rotation instead of the mesh normal for the cutting direction.
Is the culling off -option hidden somewhere in blendigo?
