I have problems with normal smoothing (specially with .obj). This morning radiance has adviced me that maybe i would separate in objects every smoothing group. In your exporter, normals are OK? And of course I have a neverending fight with multiple UVs XD Regards Alejandro PD: 3dsmax sun can be move...

In the max exporter we're using 3dsmax sun (or direct light as alternative) for indigo sunlight, because you can define your current daytime and position. I wish that we can solve some geometry issues soon to post it

There are some issues with activex controsl under XP64 (autodesk controls doesn't work), so tabs must be rebuild. Furthermore, there are some little issues with camera model. Working on it

I hope this too, but we don't know how difficult will be the join of both parts of code. Anyway, for complete functionality will be when next indigo version (test4) comes out, since it will support multimaterial into .obj files

Works for sure, because I did the investigation some time ago for maxwell converter, when the camera target couldn't be created from maxscript. I use a not-rendereable teapot instead ;)

Direct extend of targetcamera doesn't work. The dummy as target on a extended free camera is a solution. Anyway, I must say that my favorite is the added rollout in both (target and free), because in this way the user is free to decide if targetcamera or freecamera. We will see the poll result :) Al...

I'm not sure of understand you. As I know, target cameras are extended as any other, but I dont had investigate too much about this for now (at least until the end of the poll ;) ) Example code (only creation, no parameters): plugin Camera Indicam name:"Indicam" classID:#(0x28da14cf, 0x669b3c72) cat...

Indigo camera in exporter

Hi all. It's time to implement the indigo camera in max, and there are some different ways to do it so...what do you think? Vote the best option I have a question about this: what shutter speed value takes indigo camera? I don't understand at all how works without this parameter (or a rotary shutter...

Suvakas, I usually make scripts for my everyday work, as help in repeat actions or add new ones to max. The bigger (in code lines) script that I've done is a material converter for maxwell, from which I made my old material converter for indigo. If you need anything, only say me. About the exporter,...

Yes suvakas, it's a really good work. I'm on the exporter, but you have much more work done. If it's anything that I could do for you, only say me. By my side, the progress is slow because of external work (wich pays my bills), but i'm decided to finish it ;)

Best regards

Hi all. I'm making the geometry part of the exporter, but until now, there wasn't much time for work on it because I have a lot of external work to do. Anyway in few days it will be ready for first tests. I'm trying to make the code as solid and fast as possible, reusing everything that I can. It su...
