The open('logmaster.txt','r') line opens the file for reading, correct? correct :) velinje do you have this problem only when using my script? or just when using indigo with wine? a problem that may arise is that the delay between master and slave launch is too short if compared to large scenes load...

wow!
you may try splitting objects in smaller parts... this usually reduces loading time and maybe could help you with the crashing problem.
I usually split the objects in max 5k polys parts

I don't understand why do you need a separate script for the network master and the network slave! If it's for using more machines as slaves, then it's not enough to split up the script! you need to have them communicate in some way, and I can't help you in this regard :( python is very simple and i...

this is a great script! I use it on my machine a lot. I don't know how to script python, myself or I'd just make changes. I read through and I think I got the general gist of what the commands mean and do.....but I do not know python syntax. This script works wonderfully on my machine. I have a dua...

to have light emitted in one color, simply use a colored emitter

to fake a laser I used this scheme. it's not a real laser, but it's not so bad

you can build your own laser :)
just create a box with an emitter (colored too) inside, and create a small hole
the hole has to have a long... "neck". I'll post a drawing if it's not clear enough :P

the first is an alpha map, and it's not yet supported by indigo.

for the logo just apply an uv mapped texture

I think that the problem is that you have a 90k+ polys object there
try to split it up in smaller objects (this should reduce loading time too)

thanks, already solved :) I edited the first post, but maybe it wasn't very clear :) I've made a test animation! the subject is terrible, and the quality is far worse... but hey, it was just a test :) the script works correctly, all the frames were rendered automatically and none of them was corrupt...

[Linux only] Indigoo

I finally finished the script, lol I've spent almost all day coding it :) It's written in python and works only with linux. I've tested it a little and it seems to work correctly. Warning: as usual use it at your own risk :) OVERVIEW: This script essentially has three features: -launches the render ...
