I export from MOI and use it with Blender and Indigo / LUX renderer / Kerkythea / Sunflow and Radium with no issues. Export as LWO or OBJ and import into Blender. It's an easy export from there.

It would be nice to have a native NURBS renderer though.

You could setup a new partition with Linux 64 bit and then do the stuff there. Indigo runs great under wine or you could bring the files back over to the Windows partition and run it from there.

Actually, very high is available in XP as well. You just need to hack the config files to allow the high setting to use the very high values. In XP, you cannot choose Very High as it is DirectX 10 only. By editing the config files, you get all the Direct X10 eye candy in XP but at higher frame rates...

I was able to play it on very high with 30+ fps at 1024x768 in XP with the DirectX10 hack applied. It was awesome. I had to stop and look around so many times just to take in the details. I got a very playable experience in XP, but in Vista...well...that's another story.

okay, feeling stupid here.

I cannot get this to work with either 64 bit Fedora 8 Test 3 or Ubuntu 7.10 64 bit. I open a terminal and type indigo_console (file) and it returns

command not found

Can anyone help me out here?

I like the new logo watermark. Is there any way to add just one more piece of information? I like the new feature of Yaf(a)ray that adds the render time and render parameters as well. That way, if you are posting WIP and other images, it is easy for others to see what your settings were. What do you...

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! You stole my thunder! I've been working on a Galileo thermometer and was thinking...."You know what I have never seen anyone do, is a Galileo thermometer." My Blender renders never looked good enough and my Yafray renders always had issues as well. My Indigo work has been decent bu...

if you can somehow extract the noise, you also could use that as extremely slight bump map :D
Load it into the Gimp. Filters -> Map - > Bump Map.

CrazyBump Software....Incredible

Found this on the Blender forums but thought that Indigo users everywhere could find it useful.

EDIT:

It appears that the Gimp Normal Map plugin works pretty cool as well.

Indigo is faster under wine under linux, than on windows, on the same machine. 32 or 64 bit Linux? I have benched a bunch of the test scenes in XP, Fedora 7 64 bit and Vista. XP was first in speed with Fedora in a close second. Vista was just panting back there trying to keep up. This was with an A...

I'd use the new tutorial in the Documentation Wiki. It has all the information that you need to use Blendigo and nk data. http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_openwiki&Itemid=69&id=blendigo Also, someone started to determine which NK files actually worked in Indigo. Very helpful...

I tried the Indigo Participating Media, and I got way WAY too much participating media. I tried some various settings and couldn't get it to my liking.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
