1.1.15, Vista C++ Runtime Error

I am having a weird problem with my render - whenever I either resume a render from an IGI or receive data from a network slave, I get a "The application requested to be terminated in an unusual way" error message. I think this happens the first time Indigo tries to save any type of image file. I ca...

Scale external type material

Hi. I am sure I'm missing something really simple here, but I'm not sure what! I'm using the material "Parkett" from the database, but my tiles are far too big. How do I shrink them to the right size and tile the image across my floor?
Thanks!

I'll give that a go later, but won't that cause the same problems as with Violet, namely that the newer version of the IGI spec is incompatible. If this incompatibility is due to additional ignorable information, is this easy or even possible to remove by hand in notepad or similar?

Thanks

Hmmm... it sounds alright, but whenever I try to run 1.1.7 with or without an igi resume I simply get a C++ exception.

Hmmm... not really, as I'm exporting using Blendigo, which only goes up to 1.1.5 I think. I guess I could try resuming with 1.1.7 after this has finished, just as far as saving a file.

Thanks anyway

New igi format and Violet

Hi I am in the middle of rendering an image in Indigo 1.1.5, saving as an IGI file. When I try to open this in Violet, I get the error message: "Invalid image ile: invalid version". I assume this is related to the change of IGI format. Is there any way t open this file for tonemapping? Thanks Robert

Thanks! I don't have aperture diffraction turned on, because I didn't know what it did! I think the models turned out well, it's actualy modelled on a real chess set, although that had matt chrome instead of glass, which didn't look as nice when I made feebl attempts to model it!

Not sure how tongue-in-cheek that was, but here's my first proper render with Indigo. Not sure about the DOF, it seems realistic but perhaps a bit ugly... If I leave is rendering for a bit longer hopefully the noise'll clear up.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Update: I found that this problem has occurred for a number of people with the new release (the no BPyMesh or indeed any scripts problem) so I reinstalled from the ZIP and the folder is now heavily populated. I still get a similar error: File "<string>", line 115, in <module> File: "C:\Program Files...

Hmmm... I don't even have that bpymodules folder. Strange... I haven't played with my Blender install at all. Where does that folder come from?

I don't think it's a problem with my file, but my install/config of Blendigo/Indigo. I've never had a render to work in it. I did follow the steps to install it fully, though.

I downloaded the newest version today, the error message in my first post is the entire error message!

Do you mean an example of a .blend file that doesn't work? Here's one, although even the startup scene fails, just a simple cube. Indigo itself works, rendering the test scenes through the GUI.

'fraid that doesn't help at all. I tried selecting meshes in both Object and Edit mode, and the same error messages appear :(
