i will give another try later... i think my RTX5000 was to new for linux.... i will wait for new nvidia drivers.

i've install the nvidia openCL package using the ubuntu package manager.... then indigo 4.4 did complaint anymore but my Linux crashed... after i've couldn't run linux anymore (even in safe mode), it totally wrecked my system.. long story short: remove Linux, keeped window pro --> everything works f...

i got

Error while loading scene: Failed to open file '/home/heribert/software/IndigoRenderer_x64_v4.2.25/--gpu__info': No such file or directory
No Metadata

all command flags are working. its a dual boot if lunch indigo under windows 10 pro it works i can use the GPU.

yep, driver 435.21.... other render packages working fine with the GPU

i have new workstation with RTX5000 and kubuntu... indigo render does find the card.... it lauches and tell in render settings no openCL device available.?

even macbookpro GPU are slower then the CPU. you wanna have GPU speedup you need get a soild graphicscar
as eGPUd.macbook GPU+CPU does gain much more speed either.

maybe you should try a osx certifed box lke the sonnet... customer reports says it works with macos...

you can return the ezaorCoreX box instead...

tyical, if you wanna GPU rendering on a mobile platform, get a gaming laptop or HP zbook... they build for heavy duty renderjobs

you using GPU on a macbook ? wow... i always afraid it i push the GPU on laptop to hard to will burnout after some weeks/month... the macbook GPU's are generally some speed as the CPU... depending on your CPU, PR may be faster on CPU.
