Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.9 Beta

@OnoSendai

Hello,
Indeed this solution works, I have to further try that in different scenes but it seems like small values in lighting cause the problem.
Thank you very much!

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.9 Beta

Screen Shot 2020-06-27 at 20.45.31.png Hello Indigo team, This issue has raised before. Noise reduction does not work most of the time. It's not a scene issue. It's not an Intel issue as it does not happen to other renderers who use the same algorithm, it has something to do with implementation. I ...

Re: Noise Reduction

Hello again, I would like to ask you if there is any update on the issue with denoising. Since it's a prevalent issue would you like to consider it as an indigo bug and not related to intel denoiser? Additionally, if it is an Intel bug, it would be common in other renderers as well, but from my expe...

Excuse me if I asked for too much, but I believe a good core, while so important, is never enough. Cheers!

Features request

Hi, this is a list of enhancements I think can enrich your great software 1. Gimbal manipulator for standalone to move/scale/rotate any object 2. Intel Denoise bug fix (see my last post) 3. Choose at which level denoise starts (see Bella render) 4. True mix of materials 5. Multi-coated materials 6. ...

Re: Noise Reduction

Oscar this image is something like a glitch that sometimes appears, sometimes not. The reason it is so bright has nothing to do with very strong lighting. Lights are in RGB, no blackbody.

Re: Noise Reduction

Hi Oscar, thanks for the prompt response, this issue happens very often. The scene setup made in cinema4D. Lighting uses panels, sometimes using hdr images to simulate a softbox. Maybe is more often in GPU mode but I'll have to run some more tests to evaluate that. If you need extra info, let me kno...

Noise Reduction

Hi to everybody,

I'm a new user of indigo so I have a few questions regarding noise reduction. Specifically, why is this happening?

Image

Is it a memory issue? because I've tried different memory values and the bug insists.

Best, K.

Win/Mac performance gap

Hi to all! I own a dual OS system (macOS and windows) and when I run IndigoBench there is a significant difference in performance. the difference is about 45% better in favour of windows. My system is mac pro 5,1 (flashed 4,1) with nvidia 980 / High Sierra and Windows 10. I 've also ran Geekbench op...

Indigo forcing textures to tile...?

Hi, I'm continuing to learn Indigo, now I'm testing c4d capabilities. Very good implementation indeed, although I don't understand why indigo is forcing textures to tile... Is it something like a bug? Thanks on advance.
