Re: Laubwerk and skindigo?
Hi, as I can see, there are no news about possible progress, so I tried to contact Laubwerk yesterday. This is what they told me: "Hi Martin We would love to eventually support as many renderers as possible. However, Indigo is unfortunately not a renderer we are currently actively working on, so don...

Re: Sketchup - UAV mapping problem
Hi, I have the same problem. The way how you do it used to work, but since release of SU 15 and equal version of SkIndigo it has not been working for me and I am not able to achieve bump/displacement with UV sets 1,2 according to the manual you have followed... As you said, if you set up UV set to S...

Re: problem with bump mapping
Pibuz, thank you for your explanation. I tried to do it as you described, but without success. I also tried to search the forum again being sure I have already read about this problem in some topic...and finally found it! I followed this great manual: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.ph...

Re: problem with bump mapping
I am not sure. It happened to me with the SU 15 and latest version os SkIndigo, with older version it worked.
Can I find up-to-date manual for UV mapping in Skindigo somewhere? I tried to search the forum but without luck:( Thank you in advance!

problem with bump mapping
Hi all, I have a problem with bumb mapping within skindigo. When I set up bump map for active mesh, in material editor preview I can see the aplied bump. But when I try to render the scene, I get strange result (see the picture)...it is a long time since I did the bump map, so maybe I forgot some st...

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Hi Ono, the names are different, because I renamed it manually only in obj file (I did it because it was written somewhere in the forum - the goal was to use more xfrog trees in one model without confusion of materials - the material for bark, leaf etc. have the same name in each xfrog model, you kn...

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Snorky, you are the man! :) Your hack works! I had some difficulties with the method you had previously described. I did not work with every Xfrog obj file I tried (or maybe I did something wrong). This is much easier! Marc, the sharing of script will be perfect :) Marc, Lape, thank you for your con...

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Yeah, Snorky's version works. I have to try it with the other obj file during the evening, hope it is going to work also, I will let you know :) Lape, thank you for the explanation, I appreciate it! I still think there is some error in scattering editor, because original dummies are loaded right. An...

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Wow, it works now! So what do you think was wrong? The obj file?
But why are the original dummies loaded properly and scattered dummies wrongfully?

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Hi Snorky,
thank you for your response. I am not sure, if I understand it. It means that you exploded square with default material (=simple flat terrain) where the trees are scattered? And you left the tree component intact without editing?

Re: SkIndigo 3.8.25.2 (beta)
Hi Snorky and Marc, I have not achieved a good result with scattering of external meshes yet. (see my post here http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=130653#p130653 ) Snorky I tried to do it like you had described in your post but with no success. Could you possibly check my test model...

Re: Object scattering with linked external meshes?
Hi Snorky, thanks for the link. I have tried to do it as you advised but with no success. Are you really sure it is working? It seems to me, that scattering tool exports only two materials of external obj (or some order of materials, I am not sure). Let me show it: There are two models in my test sc...

Re: Object scattering with linked external meshes?
I have been trying to find a solution for described problem. So I made a new group linked to external .obj model and tried to scatter it. The result I got was image full of scattered object, but with wrong textures - you can see it in the picture, that bark texture is wrongfully mapped on needles an...

Re: Object scattering with linked external meshes?
Hi all,
I have the same problem with linked obj trees by Xfrog. As you can see in the Indigo screenshot, there are many proxies which were not replaced by external meshes. And the strange thing for me is, that original proxy is replaced by linked model. Am I doing something wrong?
