IK Rigging Tutorials by Digital Tutorials (Worth it!)
Hello all, I just felt like I should put this out there that any of you looking to learn how to rig characters should definitely invest in the IK rigging tutorials from Digital Tutorials, specifically the ones done by Farley Chery. I'm not one to pay for tutorials or tell people to pay for tutorials...

Ability to Test Cloud Render?
Do us regular users have any access to test the cloud render/material? I'd really like to see how it works first hand even if I can't get a production quality result.

360 Degree Panoramic Render?
As a preface, I've recently decided that I need to significantly reduce the overhead of my render scenes. All of which include anywhere of 50-200 objects not including human/humanoid models. I also have a personal policy of never using a texture map below 2k on anything that's six inches or larger i...

Re: New Post-Processed Work
Thank You! Ruvik was definitely the vast bulk of the inspiration for this, he was such a cool character I had to make something from it!thesquirell wrote:Evil Within?!I love it.

New Post-Processed Work
So, I've started really delving into post-processing my renders in Photoshop to really give them that "OOMPH!" and I wanted to show off my first "good" example of that.

ISL Question
So, let me preface this by stating that I've been attempting to teach myself ISL for months now, and at this point, I've pretty much accepted that it's just not going to happen. I now how to do functions and the like, I just don't understand anything else about the language... But I digress My quest...

Bump/Displacement to Normal Map Converter and Vice Versa
Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a tool known that I've been using for a long while now called njob. It's a little piece of software made by Charles Hollemeersh and it's essentially an all around CGI map convertion app. It supports: - Diffuse to Displacement - Displacement to Ambient Occlusion - ...

Re: Indigo High Detail Skin Render Methodology Test
Yeah! Amazing, right? I couldn't believe it either. This was of course with GPU acceleration, but even so it was incredible. It seems that the use of a normal map for the finer details is definitely going to be my preference from now on.

Indigo High Detail Skin Render Methodology Test
This was a test for me to find out the best method for using Indigo Renderer to find the perfect balance between the best result and the least amount of time it would take for Indigo to render a highly detailed human model with a Glossy Transparent material with Sub-Surface Scattering enabled. So fi...

Epidermis/Dermis Not Supported?
Hello, I'm working with a human model and I'm trying to get a satisfying skin result, but when ever I try to use the epidermis or dermis selections in the cindigo plugin I get an error message saying that they're not currently supported. At first, I figured that cindigo just wouldn't represent them ...

Re: Texture Woes
If you'd like an atypical solution, you might try using SketchUp for simple UV assignment. It's much easier, and you can just export it as a DAE file and reimport back into Cinema 4D

Re: Alpha channel of material from R14 to Indigo get a bug?
Have you tried the "Step Blend" option? And the order of which material is the base does matter. I wish I could help more, but I'm having a little bit of a problem understanding it. Also, another thing you coulf try is to assign the same texture to both material_x and material_x Alpha or whatever. B...

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 3.8.12
Love it! By the way, can we expect Dermis and Epidermis specular/glossy transparent support in the near future?
