Re: Cindigo Wishlist
Hi fused, For transferring scene files to another computer (without network rendering) I'd suggest to package the scene into a .pigs. You can do this in the Indigo standalone UI under "Tools" > "Pack Indigo Scene...". This should take care of the issue with the absolute pathnames. I could add a "pac...

GTX Titan vs CPU vs Tesla C2070
Hi everyone. Indigo rocks! A lot of GPU renderers popping up, but non offer the cross-platform compatibility and workflow integration that you guys do. I just sunk a grand into a GTX Titan, and boy what a difference. You might be interested to know that my Tesla C2070 was barely keeping up with my s...

Re: Cindigo Wishlist
In Cinema 4D on OS X, the plugin does not automatically start the application Indigo Renderer, as is the case for Windows users. You can do this? Regards Hi andeltoz, that should be working. There was a bug tho which was preventing the starting of Indigo in some cases that was fixed in Indigo for C...

Re: Texture size
Ah. Thank you very much for your response. That worked with the color map, but strangely, the displacement map is still being crushed down to 1024 even though it is referencing a 4096 square texture file on disk. At the moment, because the other maps are blended shaders, Cindigo has to render them o...

Texture size
Hi there. I'm currently testing using the demo version and noticed that all my textures were being converted to 1k. In my scene, all my textures are 4096 square. Looking at the files listed in Indigo GIU, I noticed that all the files that had blended layers had been squashed down to 1k. But even tho...

Re: Device selection in a hetrogenous host network render
Excellent! That would make things a lot easier. In my crude tests, the Quadro 3800 FX faired rather poorly against the C2050, and even slower than rendering on CPU. Is it possible to start multiple slave processes on a single box, each targeting a separate GPU? Or will Indigo try to split up each fr...

Re: Device selection in a hetrogenous host network render
I'm taking a wild stab here as I've never had opportunity to work with Tesla's. Have a look in the machine's BIOS options, you should be able to set the primary display device there, I'm not sure if this will work here but you can try that. Also remember that Indigo doesn't do multi GPU at the mome...

Device selection in a hetrogenous host network render
I am considering buying indigo and have been experimenting with the network rendering features using the trial version. I'm using my MBP with a GT 650M as master, and a linux box with a Quadro 3800 FX and two Tesla 2050s as slave. I'm initiating the render from within C4D. The problem I'm having is ...
