I assume you have tried the clamping option, how has this worked for you?

Re: Indigo in a nutshell

Neri Oxman, I always love watching / listening to her stuff on TED. Great speaker, knowledgeable, and soft on the eye.

(Gossip corner: Brad Pitt seems to be pulling in there.)

Re: Small Commercial Building

Is it just me or is the wood beams texturing looking funky? Wood grain size & direction bothers me.

Was there a board reset in the 12 hours?

Can anyone tell me if there was a forum / board reset in the last 12 hours?

I posted a query last night about Indigo licence resell and it is missing this morning. I checked my profile and it doesn't show up there under recent activity either.

What gives?

Hi Juju,
THis would be cool to add, we just have a lot of stuff to do right now.
Maybe after 4.0 is done.

since I'm one of the first pilots of indigo can I got a discount for render until the first comercial project?

https://p3d.in/EHtIO/spin
that'll be by the grace of the devs

they did give the first pilots a pretty good deal though, that is: THE INDIGO 100!

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

The term "point light calculation" refers to the mathematical method which electrical / lighting / illumination engineers use.

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

I'm not sure what you mean by that? Surely it's just a scaling factor and the illumination is even across the plane? Point light calculation employs the inverse square law, it gets progressively weaker the further it is measured form the origin. The light origin is taken as the center of of the lig...

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

Also take into account what reflectance the surface (-s) have, the size of the space. Keep in mind that the calculations use the centre of the light source as origin, thus using a surface of 1x1m may not be accurate. I assume you're trying to simulate using the point method? Try doing the simulation...

Re: [REQ] light level / radiance

Getting a colorized image representing illumination level is only part of the requirement of a photometric report / analysis. A scale against which this is measured (accurately relevant to certain lux levels, with some kind of lux colour chart; min / max / average luminance) and a report of sorts. H...
