That is only a small blog. I simply changed the layout to a new version, free from blogger
Thanks a lot anyway! Hope you'll be one of my fellow followers!!

E' solo un piccolo blog. Ho semplicemente cambiato il layout con uno di quelli gratuiti nuovi di blogger.
Grazie mille comunque! Spero mi seguirai ASSIDUAMENTE!

Re: Wishlist
Hi,
I just took an hour and a half to read this entire thread
It would be great and very usefull to be able to:
_Scatter objects into a volume ( Drop of rain, dust particles, or what ever the object we want ) And be able to control their orientation/inclination to simulate some wind when raining for exemple ( the most windy scene, the most inclinated drops ).
_Get the scattered object coloured with the color of the pixel corresponding to where the object is scattered on the ground texture: so that we can get a caterpillar carpet wich keeps the color of the carpet's texture. This would be just perfect for an interior scene, but for a lot of other situations too.
This should be an additionnal checkbox option to activate if needed, keeping the actual parameters of the build-in scatter editor.
This is something that would be extremely usefull I think

Re: Wishlist
The first thing is, again, a job for fluid simulators/physics engines.
Second one could be cool I guess.

Re: Wishlist
Thanks Oscar for your reply,
I'm not a developer, but it seems to me that scattering objects into a volume would be as "simple" as scatter them on a plane with addition of one more axis ( a vertical one ), no ? There would be absolutely no need of a fluid simulator, since a simple mesh of a rain drop ( wich can easily be modeled even in sketchup ) or of a dust fiber would then simply be scattered just like a simple scatter, I guess.
But to be honest the pixel based colouring of scattered objects, is a lot more important from my opinion, for a good example, when a room has a ground carpet on all its surface, it gives a lot more realism with fiber respecting the colors of it than just a flat texture. I've got a lot of scenes that would benefit this option and I'm sure I'm not alone. If I am correct, this option is available in other exporters since many years already
The volume scattering proposal was sort of a (attractive) bonus
Any developer's opinion would be greatly apreciated

Re: Wishlist
I think it would be nice to have an option that allows you to set ON the "SINGLE FACE " option directly from Skindigo instead in Indigo...i mean , to select single faces from a file after the render has started is kinda annoying ...just a saying

Re: Wishlist
^ Agree, would be nice in Blendigo as well.
Re: Wishlist
What about to have an option/tool to match the Sketchup's sun with the HDRI/EXR sun or light ?. I think it would be really useful..at least for me
Re: Wishlist
You can actually get a very similar effect with a shader, using world coordinates to lookup in the texture. That's not super convenient though.Onizuka wrote:Hi,

I mean I can't writte shaders, is there one available ?

Wishlist:
Can the scatter editor be utilised within Indigo? (eg so we can change density/weightings of objects)

Re: Wishlist
I was thinking that it would be really nice to have an object browser , i mean ....I have lots of external .Obj tree files which are kinda hard to recognize due what is displayed in sketchup is only a single box. It could be a really time saver. Something like image below would be great !
