Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
Yes, GPU. Supersample 2.
Having to render at higher supersample is very annoying for me: simple scenes should be rendered just fine. Don't you guys think?

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
CRITIC QUESTION: the GEOMETRY isn't the same as in the model!!!!!
(the stair has the exact same risers, obviously).
I used the "scale model" function of SkIndigo. Maybe it's a bug in there..

Hi Snorky, snorky wrote:I'm sorry to repeat.... the "render settings" tab has a problem!
I tried on E8400-xp, E6550-vista64, Atom330-vista, Atom230-seven. It disappears when starting Indigo (anchored in the layout or not, is the same)
This should be fixed for 3.2.3.
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
Fixed for next release. Thanks for bug report.Zom-B wrote:Another small detail:
The scene specific metadata don't get displayed in the Indigo GUI, only the scene span.
Cindigo for example sets these metadata in the igs:
Code: Select all
<metadata> <exporter>Cindigo 3.2.1</exporter> <platform>Windows 64-Bit</platform> <created_date>15:33:24, 9.11.2011</created_date> </metadata>

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
The new material UI is much easier to use :)
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
The sunsky material does not support the captured model, can not populate bottom half atm.
Wondering yet if the weight can be a texture or shader, would be nice as a plain blend parameter (or the sunsky as a plain material).

Hi CTZ!
..actually, I was only rejoicing for the enhanced sky realism.. :D

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
... with reason !
My notice was on a different aspect, undirectly related: the new model can not be added to an environment map at this time, only the original model can.
I was trying to use an environment map to "populate" its ground but that's not possible yet.
NB: environment blending is a recent addition wich was perhaps not exposed yet. Save for unexpected challenges should mti 3.2.2+ have it (sunlight + background(material)).

Ah ok! Thanks!
Your post was something like "..and wait for what's coming!"
Happy to hear that!
(where the damn are the smileys when you need them?!?! :D :D :D )

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.2.1
Got it in, the test is not spectacular but it works.
It is possible to use three layers to set the environment (sun+sky+map/material), and technically more I think.
The env image is a custom LDRI hence the flat shading.

Thanks, glare! It looks really awesome! One small note though.. when you are installing the sketchup plugin, it doesn't tell what folder you should chooe. I've been using skindigo for a long time, so this wasn't a problem for me, but it might be kind of confusing to a new user.
EDIT : Huge speed improvement with mesh lights!
