I moved them recently. If it is not in the main render settings panels, it'll be in the Camera settings. (so that different cameras can have different tonemapping settings).

I see things like the f-stop and shutter speed, which is great to have for each camera, and I see the Custom Properties (with the indigo_tonemapping_properties field) however I can't find a way to switch between Reinhard/Linear/Camera.

Also, camera shift does not work currently.

Sorry for the sudden barrage of problems and things, it's just that I'm finally starting to switch over to Blender 2.5 (mostly now just to get a feel for what it's like to work with the new exporters and interface) so I'm stress-testing Blendigo!

Ah, OK, looks like I forgot to register the panel for it. This will be easy to fix :)

Scratch that tango.

- Particle systems don't work (particle instancing for grass, trees, etc.)
- The option only to render active layers is missing (all the stuff I don't want to see is showing up!)

Hello,

When i try to download the last sources for Blendigo-2.5, github says there is no public repository for that, and in http://github.com/doughammond/ two repositories are shown, but in the logs it is still being pushed to the hidden one. What is wrong? Is it private? Should i ask for something in order to access it?

Thank you in advanced.

Miguel

The blendigo-2.5 repository has been taken offline temporarily while I work on new features for the next Indigo release.

There will still be a Beta release of the exporter soon, but for now I cannot make the code public.

It is still quietly simmering in the background, 2.4 stable coding has taken a priority recently. I hope to post another beta soon, if priorities allow.

Hi Dougal2,

How is the external render engine API doing from your perspective, and is it still being updated from what you have seen since the main developer working on the blender render engine left to work on Octane renderer or is it now at a stand still?

To sum up the question, is the Blender beta keeping up with the Blendigo beta and is the Blender external render engine API in its beta stages hindering the development of Blendigo in any way?

It is usable, there are still a few things that should be added, like direct image transfer instead of save/load from disk however the main work that needs to be done is mostly in completing the UI panels and in render process control.
A few ancilliary bits like presets, save/load material data etc also need to be added at a later date when the exporter is basically functional.

I wouldn't say that blender is inhibiting blendigo development, I'm mostly facing a lack of time to get on with it. :(

Help needed..

I have blender 2.54.0..
And I have copied the indigo to my blender/ io dir in windows.
then I try to install the addon and it does nothing..

I have indigo renderer installed... and the latest blender..
still no luck..

any sugestions?

or is there a zip with a blender 2.5 version that has this already included?

The code released in this thread will no longer work with newer blender builds. I'm working on getting the exporter finished for a release some time later this year, or early next year, roughly in line with Indigo 3.0.

I'm afraid that the exporter won't be available for use with Indigo 2.x due to implementation of features that I am not yet allowed to disclose.
