Caterpillar testscene

Post by SaphireS » Sun Jun 06, 2010 11:26 pm

Hi, I tested the new 2.4.4 beta release and got the following picture when turning on Aperture Diffraction on the caterpillar testscene. Pins and Erotica testscenes work as expected.

awesome images ^^
Is this related to PostPro Aperture Diffraction, or the physical render mode??

Well, strange thing! It seems not related with the render method. If you stop the rendering and change the render method, with the apperture diff. enabled, an re-run the rendering, this scene renders OK.
So this bizarre images appears if you enable the apperture diff. in mid of the rendering process (it dont happen with other scenes, BTW  ).

Cheers!
