Hey Glare...
please reduce the Light Layer GUI size, just like in the image attached... should be a quick job, but with big effect on managing high numbers of light layers:

The Textfiel with the up/doen arrows seems a big high too... shrinking its hight by some pixels wouldn't hurt I think

Good idea, but I would extend it even further

Also if I use layers 2 and 15 Indigo will create controls for the twelve in-between, non invoqued layers... Why use layer 15 ? Because
Collapsing blank spaces sounds logical, I don't necessarily apply for smaller controls though...
Go Pixie go

! edit: one could even put the switch in front of the master level.

+1 for CTZn's "collapsing not used" idea and +1 for pixies colors.

yes, Pixies is far better than my approach, I thought also about something like this, but I think just reducing space between the stuff would be a quick fix that could be implemented in minutes!
The enable Layer Stuff could go to the top left from master gain to save even some more space!

Perhaps put the 'enable' and 'master gain' on top of the seperate channels? and makingit more responsive (so it doesn't take 10 seconds for it to update the image) would be nice to, if it's possible.

All great UI ideas! I'll implement them.
Accelerating tonemapping and lightmapping is something i'd like to do as well. Maybe use the graphics card or summat.

What's the word on graphics card acceleration? I'd love to take advantage of this beast.

We've done some prototype work for tonemapping acceleration. That'd be the first release, using CUDA - and we have some other projects investigating different speedups, but nothing definite yet.
