I have a small problem with the exporter:
Render settings are not stored. Quite annoying on bigger cases. Can't pick other than first camera for instance.

I thought we fixed this bug quite a while ago. Are you using the latest version of the plugin?

Any news on this problem? - really need to control the views and settings

Another question: are ies profiles exported from lights or materials in Revit and how?

Hi,

try this build: https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vi ... 38&t=14884

please let me know id this solves the problem for you.

Regarding IES profiles: IES profiles are read from revit light sources, depending on the "distribution" set in the asset:

- For "Spot" an IES file is generated from the spot parameters.
- For "Web" the referenced IES file is used.
- For all other IES is not set.

Hi Fused

Sorry, but it dosn't solve it. I can change the different settings but it jumps back again to default values.
Could it be some security settings is blocking the read/write access to something?

Regarding ies profiles -how do I control the strength then? Are the ies profile tied to a material?

Nikolaj,

the only change in 2018 that I could think of being related to this issue is that the automatic transaction mode was removed and transactions always have to be handled manually now.

I have checked the transaction error handling code again, and if that were the cause, there there should be an error message.

I'm currently going over some other code improving error handling. If you could send me a pm with a contact where I can send builds for you to try, that would be greatly appreciated.
