My Version of the "skylight" scene
I've always felt attracted to the skylight scene in Radiance's tutorial. Today, I decided to model it in Blender and take advantage of the latest version released:
I think trying to mimmick good scenes is a great way of learning.
Stopped it after an hour. I was amazed of the mutations per second I was getting with 0.6 t6. Now I'm wondering if there are Antialiasing options in Indigo? There are too many jagged lines around.

Does Indigo also do some Clouds for Skylight ?
To get the jagged lines killed, you could try to render some time longer (no big hope),
or chose a bigger rendering resolution... somewhere Nick told that
"There's sometimes aliasing in indigo renders.. "
btw: 0.66 realy feels much faster...

@8bstudio: I converted an hdri image to exr using an application called "hdr2exr"; used it as "map" in the blender exporter. You have to select the "latlong" option instead of the "spherical" one. Oh yes, and don't place any lights; the exr map casts light for your scene and gives it a nice touch of realism as things get tinted by its color.
Manitwo vey kindly linked me to the converter application. You can find it here:

and you can find some very good latlong hdri images to convert here:

cheers!

To save you some time:
hat's because it is and MS-DOS command line program. To use it, you need to open a "Command Prompt" window and then enter
the command "hdr2exr yourhdrfile.hdr yourhdrfile.exr". Of coure, when entering the command, you need to be in the directory
where your hdr file is located and if you don't want to deal with the "path" environment variable, then just copy the hdr2exr.exe file
into the directory where your hdr files are located too.
