kklors render stuff
Re: kklors render stuff
Looks like the algorithm understands very well JPEG block artifacts
Re: kklors render stuff
Yeah it's pretty nifty though. People created custom alphabets etc with that.
Some random byproduct.

This is Indigo? How?
Re: kklors render stuff
Haha yeah.
Was kind of an accident connecting all verticies as a spline as seen on the left.
I ran through some optimizer deleting some lines that were too close to each other. Then meshed the spline using a Sweep NURBS with a six sided "circle" spline as profile being 0.2mm thick. No idea how it's called in other packages, extrude spline, nurbs or whatnot.

Aw yes!
Don't you just love how quickly the DOF clears up with the GPU rendering?

Don't know, haven't tried it yet!
BTW nice alien/insect-thing!

Thanks!
It's all relative I guess.
The in focus area cleared almost instantaneous, while DOF cleared up like this well over 40+k samples/px.

Oh, depends on materials and lighting I guess. I just realised it looks like it's all glass?
Re: kklors render stuff
Is there any starting kit to deepstyling ? A compiled thing of sorts ? I sure want to try it out !kklors wrote:Thanks a lot people \o/
Oscar, it rendered for about 1 1/2h while I was away with an overexcess on samples though.
The iteration WIPS I rendered looked pretty good after 15-20 minutes.
A small, but maybe interesting detail is the font on the sign. I've seen people deepstyling fonts, so I gave it a try.
I wrote some random sentences in Futura bold and deepstyled it against an image of clouds.
The result is in the attachment. I then cut out some fonts, vectorized them and had some random alien word : P

Unfortunately not that I know of, had to nerd it the hard way.
There are sites that do it online, but the results are okeish in my opinion and lower res ofc.
