Who are you guys?Indigo is developed by Glare Technologies, a company registered in Wellington, New Zealand. Glare has two full time staff (Ben Nolan and Nick Chapman) and we've been working full time on Indigo since late 2008. We pay several other developers around the world to build exporters for Indigo. Are you guys in it for the long haul?Absolutely. Indigo is our number one priority and we love working on such an interesting product in a great market. We have paying customers, including large architecture firms in Germany, Italy and France. We have a German reseller and several OEM users of Indigo. We're self funded, profitable and have plenty more features in the pipeline. What happened to the free version of Indigo? When we released Indigo 2.0, Nick decided that he needed to start getting paid for his work on Indigo, after 5 years of distributing Indigo for free. As such, the last free version of Indigo was 1.1.18. However, because we only make money off people who make money using Indigo, we tried to make the free version of Indigo 2.0 as useful as possible. The free version can be used for non-commercial renders up to 0.7 megapixel resolution, with an Indigo logo in the bottom right of the render.
