Mudbox

Post by manitwo » Sat Jan 27, 2007 11:28 am

Hi 8)

I just downloaded the trial of Mudbox (http://www.mudbox3d.com) and i must say i'm totally blown away!!!
I tried Z-Brush once ... not comparable in things like gui and worklflow.
This is sooo much better in mudbox. (and it's true 3d not like z-brushs confusing 2.5d)
Love the layer system also. And it's so easy to learn! ...

... definatly worth a try! (https://mudbox3d.com/downloadTrial.html)

I hate timed trials, 15 days is way too short. I prefer the Terragen approach: Infinite trial but with limits on some features.

That being said... ZOMG this program is awesome! Id love it if Blender Sculpt could even just approach this level of perfection. Right now the blender sculpt takes way too much RAM and it makes it difficult on big or very detailed models.
