BIG Bobby-Car Classic lomo-style

Post by zeitmeister » Mon Mar 08, 2010 2:22 am

Just revealed my old model and brought it to Indigo. Plus, a little bit of lomo-style color correction in PS.
Did this at home, where I don't have a licence...
Hope you like it anyway! :)

Wow, great images and post production Zeit! Definitely gallery-worthy.

Was SSS used on the body?

Thank you!
The body material is a mix of phong and glossy transparent with SSS... Although the SSS is a little bit too subtle, maybe.
The phong exponent is still too strong IMHO; maybe I should try to use a mix of two phong materials, too.
Cheers, David

The postpro really gives a nice overall effect.
Excuse the noobness but.. what does "lomo-style" mean?

Absolutely gallery-worthy.
The composition is stunning. Especially the second one is a piece of art.
The small imperfections on the wheels and the steering wheel for example are just.... perfect.

Thank you very much!

... not by accident!
Some of the bump ist still far too strong, especially on the "tyre" profile material and perhaps on the chrome.
But I won't change it until I'll make a new render...
this one cries for an animation!

Great job!

One thing though, it's not because you make a lomo style look-a-like photo, that suddenly the photo becomes lomo style.

I think it's quite impossible to do it in digital world.
