ah...indigo vs. glass. not friends
Re: Some test
That's not true!! Glass is not easy to render but MLT renderers (hence Indigo) are the best for thisah...indigo vs. glass. not friends
Xman : did you enable MLT for rendering the LED?

I'm use Pathtrace+Bid,I guess that would be better to use MLT.

Re: Some test
MLT is really mandatory for the LED scene I think.
I'm currently working on 5 floor buildings with more than 90 double glazing units (two superimposed glass sheets per windows). I think Indigo is coping very well with that kind of scene.

Re: Some test
There are some bright dots inside your LED. These are likely some multireflections/caustics that converge really slowly without MLT. Try again with MLT and you will likely see a quite different result there. PT seems faster but id did not rendered yet some features of the image.

Could you elaborate on your experience dcm? Maybe we can improve it!dcm wrote:i love indigo but i think glass is the hardest part for indigo from all unbiased renderers i have ever tried
The orange figure is out of focus, I think it'd look nice in focus I love the red balls though, really nice reflections.
