Neo0, theres 3 little buttons at the bottom of the viewport that let you switch between face/edge/vertex selection. Alternatively ctrl+tab+2 will get you in to edge selection as well.

The existing Blendigo won't and never will work with 2.5 - you'll have to wait until we get some new code released.

don't panic, we're working on it 8)

Oh dear...
baking in blender should and must really be multithreaded. I can't make any use of my eight cores... it's a real pity.
Does anyone know why the boys don't work on that?
Cheers, David

Oh yes I forgot to mention that earlier, the only reason the examples I linked to on the BA forums work is because theyve been built with the new python API, anything prior to 2.5 wont work.

A lot of the buttons/menus are context sensitive now, which means they wont randomly still be there when they dont apply.

The best example of this is in 2.49 when you select a lamp object you still have the "Editing Tab" which normally contains mesh functions like subdivide, remove doubles, ... However on a lamp object this tab is empty yet still present and therefore useless. Notice how in 2.5 due to much more context sensitive-ness ;) when you select a lamp object the "materials", "modifiers" and "particle" tabs disappear and the icon for the "object data" tab changes to reflect the change in context.

Aw.. :x

After a few computer troubles, I figured out I needed to install 2.5 (can't use any of the prior versions), and now I learn Indigo doesn't work with 2.5.. :(

Don't mean to be impatient, but any estimates on when the 2.5-compatible script will be up and running? :)

I am curious :) why are you not able to use prior to 2.5 version?

So I've never really used blender before and I was wondering about something.. A lot of the time, Im going for a messy look, with objects scattered around my scene, as if someone dumped them there. Can blender's physics tools be used to arrange objects as well?

Will 1.1.18 users have to stick with 2.49, or is a rewrite intended for that as well?
