Just to be clear its 295 euros for the lifetime version? The buying page is confusing?

Indigo 2.0 Licence and
Indigo Full Lifetime Licence

You just need the Indigo Full Lifetime Licence for 295?

Exactly.
Plus, you got two node licences; that means that up to 3 computers can render one image simultaneously.

Why is there a Indigo 2.0 Licence option on the buying page?

I just ignore that and go for the Indigo Full Lifetime Licence...?

Yes, the "Indigo Full Lifetime Licence" will not be available anymore in the very near future... it's a special offer.

"Indigo 2.0 Licence" ist the standalone, ordinary product, without lifetime upgrade service.
"Indigo 2.0 Node Licence" should be clear.

I hope I am explaining everything correctly; I am just a customer and not a developer or salesman of Glare Technologies.
Better wait for "benn" or "Ono" to verify my statements.

Or even better, write them an email: billing@glaretechnologies.com

...and again Ben you may want to update the front page. In fact at this point in the game you might want to update it for every sale :)

..and also store. It says that "About 40 Lifetime licences remain available." on the store page.

Hi,

I have started using the demo version of Indigo like 10 days ago and I am pretty impressed so far. I am in the rendering business (mainly architectural visualization) since '94 and have been working with differrent cad/modeling programs (starting with Autocad back in '88) and only recently started using Sketchup more and more. There are several render plugins but after trying out pretty much each of them I relly do like Indigo the most.
So now I hope the money transfer to my paypal account goes through fast enough to get ahold of one of the very last available lifetime licenses!

Regards,
Erwin

Just a random thing, but in my opinion you guys shouldn't raise the price very much (or at all), when the Lifetime licenses are sold out. Right now, one of Indigo's major selling points (if not it's biggest) is the low price compared to other unbiased renderers.

I'm inclined to agree with that notion. Doubling the price and reducing the license to a single major version cycle at the same time is going to take indigo from uber-attractive to just-another-expensive-unbiased-render-engine.

Sticking with the same price point but switching from lifetime to single cycle just makes good sense I think.

...all personal opinion of course, I'm no business guru by any means.

Yeah - to clarify, the price of Indigo isn't going up when the lifetime licences are sold out - Indigo 2.0 will still be 295€. :)

The price will go up eventually, but not this year.

I agree with it, but before buying 2.0, buyers would probably want to know when will be released 3.0? And us too :)
