wow! thanks Ono! loads of improvements in this version! yet I think I'm afraid to use it :( I presume exporters will have to be adapted to comply with the new XML standard?

The few test scenes that I have tried have XML parsing errors.

I've fixed the "caustic_participating_media_test.xml"

Figured I'd upload it for others to try.

Looks like having your xml structure change version to version is a bitch, eh :)

for Phong materials, is "fresnel_scale" still suppoerted or is it part of the "ior" stuff now?

quick question; paths to find the xml files are now absolute instead of relative?
EDITED:sorry, just tried it out; both work!

yet, many of the default scenes won´t load due to errors. I'm test-rendering the working scenes now

zsouthboy:
hehe, yeah i didn't get round to fixing all the scenes myself, as you can see, there's quite a lot of them :)

zuegs:
yup still supported.

afecelis:
they can be relative or absolute, no change from before.

Hi Nick,
new version works fine, my ".nk" materials looks a bit darker but this i can rebalance. Has "ior" setting in phong an influence when using ".nk" materials?
But "sky_gain" still don't work i think  (when used together with a meshlight, sky_gain don't change anything in light-balance).

Oh my gosh! I've always wanted stuff like that. Now Indigo's better than even some commercial MLT renderers!
