That's just WONDERFUL David!
Thanks for sharing!

Would you mind posting some wires? Just to see what's 3D and what's not..
Btw, it all integrates very well: excellent tuning!

Wow, this looks amazing. Probably the first exterior render that really leverages indigo's vast rendering capabilitie's. :)

You know what would be amazing though? If indigo got some Vue style features like :
-The ability to create clouds, with complete control over cloud density, altitude, thickness (more "thick" would make the clouds more heavy looking), coverage, etc. These clouds would be volumetric too, and so would affect the lighting accordingly and inteact with the rest of the scene realistically.
-Complete atmospheric model, where you can control things like haze, scattiring, colors, etc. This would be useful for doing things like dramatic sunsets.
(No weather effects or procedural terrain though)

How would this work as far as exporters go? Each exporter would have a seperate menu called "world" or something. You would be able to configure all the properties with a combination of sliders and photoshop style color pickers (either that or ISL.) Once that was done, you would do a rough preview or something.

This would really come in handy for architectural designers looking for a cheap solution. :)

Too bad it's off topic

But yes, clouds. And ouch, their rendering time but you wouldn't call them cheap because they'd look darn real. I'm sure the bugs and requests forum has some entries on the topic.

Nice care of details zeitmeister, very well done !

Realy nice render, each time i see this i get tricked to belive it's a real photo :)

And about the clouds, ne0 is not the first that had that idea, yesterday i was modeling clouds, in tried to get some realistic renders of them, didnt trun out that good tough... but Ono did have a topic on clouds some time ago http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... ght=clouds
They look sweet.

And sorry for being of topic, but i got hung up in this cloud thing

True, but I am the first one to actually discuss implementing them into indigo, as a regularly used feature with an interface. :)

Thank you all very much!

I wouldn't thought of uploading it to the gallery, especially to the "Best of Indigo"-section, until you moderators say that you're going with it.

Perhaps this is a general problem of people not knowing if their renderings are worth being uploaded there or not... you should think of uploading all renders from the "Finished Artwork"-forum you concern being worth it by yourselves.
I would never upload an image to this section of my own.
Please excuse my bad English, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. :)

You can find some sort of wire or clay rendering here.

Thanks again to all of you!
Cheers, David

Amazing render. And amazing for showing how good Indigo can be.

Excellent job of matching the colour and tone of the background plate. The wire/clay image really helps to show how well you've done it.

Definately an image to show what Indigo can do. Congrats :D
