This is the final Result of my "Caustic & Dispersion Test" (WIP)

Here are the Source Files, for everybody who wants to play with this Gem
>> Diamond Source Files <<

Because my Comupter freezed after 14.40h of rendering I take this Picture as the final.
A version with & one without PostProcessing

Beautiful!
Looks very realistic!

How can you remove the grain in post production?

Heya Zom-B,

very nice test you did there and thanx for sharing the scene also! :D :D ;)

PS.: The post work you did is smoothing the image pretty hard, but
it is looking like a cool way to do some art! ;o))

take care

now in 0.65

Post by Zom-B » Wed Oct 18, 2006 3:56 pm

I HAD to redo this Rendering, I never was satisfied with it. :(
Now in Indigo 0.65 much faster & with BiDir much nicer!

Take a look HERE.

I'll retry it after transparent NK Material will be supported

That is over 6 years ago I did that render, have to tell you that this stuff isn't on my HDD anymore
But I found the render in the gallery: http://www.indigorenderer.com/images/diamondfinalpptt2

It was done with Indigo 0.6 or 0.75 maybe...
