ski, binding, and boot (modeling/rendering practice)

Post by ThatDude33 » Mon Dec 18, 2006 3:02 pm

Hi guys, I've been working on a ski model which will be rendered in Indigo later. I've been skiing 3 times a week for the past weeks and so I'm tempted to model my freestyle skiis (Blizzard Shock Therapy, very nice skiis), the ones I use to do tricks and what not. Here's what I have so far!

Wow, a really sexy piece of polygons :shock:
Someday after Nick integrated material Blending in Indigo,
some nice graphic Arts on the Skies would be lovely,
like mostly seen on Snowboards...

So long a bigger version of two skis would be nice!

finally very nice work, as nick already told, very realistic!

@zom-b

The skiis will have a texture, don't worry :D

Meanwhile, here's a picture my friend took yesterday from the mountain (TERRIBLE compression, he took it with his cell phone ;))
Thats me, grinding a rail (yes, that's what that thing under me is, a rail :D)

And here's the actual ski im trying to model, i'm too lazy to take a picture of my skiis so i just found a picture of themm on the internet :D
