Requests for Blendigo 2.0.7?

Post by benn » Wed Jun 03, 2009 11:45 am

Can I get some requests for blendigo 2.0.7? I've been working on getting blendigo working better with Indigo 2.0 on windows and mac, on the list I've also got:

* Fix material previews
* Motion blur

I also did a hack to convert lamps to suns, or maybe should I convert them to an emitting sphere?

What else needs work on blendigo?

#1: It would be nice to be able to use Physical Sun+Sky with an environment map - not sure if thats possible in Indigo?

#2: When using lense shift would be nice if the amount/effect could be displayed in Blenders camera view

#3: Be nice to have more options for saving file like TGA, TIF, etc...

You can probably guess where some of these ideas have come from? :oops:

Well, some materials that seem to have nothing special are not exported...

This requires to search them step by step and exporting them in igm files before copyingthem into the igs scene... very annoying ! If that could be solved in 2.0.7, I'd finally be able to use indigo like the previous versions...

Check to make sure Dupli-Groups works in Blender. I am not sure that Dupli-Groups objects are exported now.

As I told SmartDen already: Make "UVTex" the default setting for the uv set, instead of "uv".
I always have to change it by hand when creating my materials in blendigo.

The Dupli-groups worked in the old 1.0.4 version. After that I think the format for the embedded mesh changed and that broke it.

And also,a real-time material preview? Not anything too huge, just 100x100 or 150x150? Although it most likely wouldn't be ready for this release, it would be a very nice feature.
do you mean preview integrated in blendigo UI? or what do you mean with "real time"?

And by "real time" I mean it updates in real time.
You do realise, what type of renderer Indigo is, right?
