Camera problem?

Post by And1Legend21 » Sat May 02, 2009 9:41 am

When I render something in Blender with Indigo it doesn't come up like it should. The floor that I have on my scene is level with the rest of my scene, but when I render it with Indigo it is in a different position. Like it doesnt register that it should be somewhere else and just goes where I might have it before.

Any one know what could be happening?

Looks as though the floor is bending up into the counter. Also as you can see there should be more fridge shown.

You aren't the only one that's noticed this. I thought it was just me. I am currently doing a photo re-composition project and I created my camera and used a background image in blender to match up object positions etc with the other photographic components. Go to render and what I see in indigo's camera is not the same as in blender.

If I were you I would try applying scale and rotation, I've had problems with that before. It seems strange that you have no Z thickness in your plane yet it has a Z scale of 4.065.

What kind of camera is ideal to use while touring India? I have a Nikon SLR film camera, but am wondering if I shouldn't get a pocket digital camera (around 5 megapixels) with a decent zoom on it. Would the pocket digital camera give me as good pictures as the film SLR?
