Sorry.. i tried but i don't get itpixie wrote: On material helper when emission is chosen you can set the number for the layer of the given light
1-i have 2 planes with indigo light tag, put them on different layers in cinema, set different colors in the indigo light tag (the icon changes color), and export. When i run indigo i see only layer 0. What do i miss?

First you create two materials, let's name them Layer 1 and Layer 2 just for simplicity as it's not relevant their name (they can as of now even have the same name) and the convert them.Marcofly wrote:Sorry.. i tried but i don't get itpixie wrote: On material helper when emission is chosen you can set the number for the layer of the given light

In the first material choose emission from the row, click use emission. You'll notice that the Material helper will become 'illuminated' showing it's an emission material, and then pick your light type/color and choose your layer number in Light Layer. Do the same for the second and apply those to the planes you want.
The Light object has been deprecated.

Re: Cindigo 1.1.18 - stable RC4
i didnt, you just need to apply a background material with uniform white light.
just drop a material helper in the linkfield under the background material and make sure emission is enabled.

And where must HDRIs put in? Background material of course. The normal Albedo Texture?
Re: Cindigo 1.1.18 - stable RC4
depends on what you set here:
Re: Cindigo 1.1.18 - stable RC4
Hi Fused, i have a scene where i wanna set DOF.
When i set f-stop to 2 , 4 etc. no Dof can be recognized.
But when i change the global Multiplier from 1 to 0.001 the Dof is getting nice.
But on the other hand i get some weird geometrical artifacts.

Re: Cindigo 1.1.18 - stable RC4
While making a test scene for a ceramic tile I bump into a problem regarding instances.
Scene is added.
root of the problem, instances of instances nested aren't good for your health
bonus: material

Yes, thats either because of the KDTree bug or the ray nudge distancetungee wrote:But on the other hand i get some weird geometrical artifacts.

if its scale related, probably ray nudge.PureSpider wrote:Yes, thats either because of the KDTree bug or the ray nudge distancetungee wrote:But on the other hand i get some weird geometrical artifacts.
