Glad you like it !

Yeah I do trust you Pure... I hope you all are having a lot of fun with my english, I thought I said that, on the water shape

press F5 for the image above (ah, missed, it's on the previous page ) !

Spoiler, 3h and stop, res/3:

Image

-------------------

For the next bits I have changed the water texture, I think I'll try this (1.37MB). Also I moved the texture seam of the water from the left edge to the center one, backwards. And I flipped that emitter that was shooting back :| (the left one behind the camera) and moved both away. I must add that the scene is now embedded into a tight cube with 50% gray applied.

Then I'll shrink the water flow toward the basis with a nice curved shape :P ;)

Yeah, the water is much better like that.
But it also kills the plants and there goes the realism for me. Sry :P

No sorries for you have an opinion, should I educate you, mate ;) ?

I'm considering what you say; with the corrected water flow we will see some more.

At some point with the water sim I wanted to set the fluid to a dichroic glass, the effect would be less dramatic now :/ I'll try not to get too distracted and bring the scene to a nice end.

Sorry for another render forcibly stoped after 28mn (I do have an excuse :P).

BTW I did shrink the flow toward its base but then after I boosted the perspective  means I like it so I guess. After all it's pretty much what was imagined in first instance, I'll stick with the idea and finish that project.

Be sure there will be more ones involving vegetation suv, I love this and learned some more bits (displaced trees ?).

If one want to add or emphasis some points it's about time ! For all the images of this project the frame buffer is 2400 pixels wide.

My pc is a good rig from early 2004.

edit: so to put it clear the compositional aspect is done, now I'll focus on details: textures, materials, the main lamp etc

What's your preference ? I did something wrong with one emitting shader, time to use layers ! I was liking the balanced lighting in the previous render...

IMAGE WAS MOVED BELOW

The difficulty with this scene is that it doesn't allow a second test render to run RAM wise, I'm bound to wait for the image to render before testing ahead.

Hey, this looks great. I actually like the lighting better than on previous image. Plants are also much more visible now.

Okay, thanks ! I'm asking you again a direct comparison, can you please confirm your taste, now that the render is cleaner ? In between maybe, or closer to one ?

Okay, I'm sticking with dark tones then, I'm keeping this in mind.

Glad you like it Ono !

Though, I'll revive the warming light (5000°K) because the first idea in lighting was to have a balance between hot and cold tones. I'll keep exposure low ;)

Also I'll give more body to the plants, because 1: I made them thinner than they were in the beginning and 2: their body is subdivided by Indigo (that's the rocking new ;)), emphasing the effect.

The left pillar will have a new disp texture, it can't compare with its twin.

Another wip. I did not do the scene, only materials, though some objects were remodeled/replaced by own models.

Image
png 578KB, Indigo 2.0.6

I plan to texture walls and add "moquette", or a carpet at the least. Had a hard time redoing UVs on third party meshes.
