I'm sure it's not enough, I made test editing manualy from 1e+007 to 1e+009, it's better but not perfect

they look about the same Jambert :)

Again if you are after perfect uncolored mirrors use rather specular with highest ior.

Freedom for scalars !!!

What if you trust me

Exponent is controlling how glossy the reflections are.

Not how much reflection is occurring.

Drop Phong, drop exponent, mirrors don't need that.

Use an opaque specular with 1.000.000 ior or more, OR, set the phong's ior to a similar value. No wonder that ior 3 is lowly reflecting, I think you are mixing exponent and ior together.

IOR defines the amount of reflections, glossy their sharpness. 3 is not enough because some real materials do have that ior, and that doesn't make perfect mirrors of them (as you verified).

Now I'm even :)

Edit: I'm liking the look of the room !

you should set ior as high as posibble. 3 is too low. try ior 1,000 and exp 1,000,000

if I put ior 1000 my mirror will have no color, that all, I know that, that's not the problem?

perfect, to me, means no glossy

But 1e+007 is still glossy or blury, have a look on the left, it's not perfect...

so a test with ior 3 (darky) and exp 1e+009  no blur

CTZn

with specular and low ior you can't change color it's black, blue or orange, would be nice

but reflections are perfect, no blur :)

thanks for your help :D

SmartDen, is it possible to expand "ray nudge" field (under Renderer tab in Blendigo) from the current 5-digit to 7-digit as per exported xml? The problem is that it's not possible to enter a value below 0.0001 -- Blendigo not rounds it up for display, but just drops any fractions below that value and exports 0.000000, the effect of which you may see here:

why would you need a lower ray nudge distance? Are you working with micro objects? O.o (I mean, the LEDs ARE small... but not THAT small O.o)

Kram1032 ...why would you want to limit yourself to 1/10mm? I would make the exporter so that it supports the entire range supported by Indigo itself....

hmm you'll rarely need >0.1 mm anyway but probably you're right^^
