WOW! Curtains are amazing! :shock:
I like them very much.
Carpet is too flat for me.

How did you do the curtains material?

I use two different materials (with different transparency)

- Tenda bianca (more transparent)
- Tendone (less transparent)

Here are the two materials:

Code: Select all

<!-- Material : "Tendone (2)" -->
    <material> <!-- IgsMaterialType : "IgsDiffuse" -->
      <name>Material_54_Diffuse</name>
      <diffuse>
        <albedo>
          <constant>
            <rgb>
              <rgb>0.800000 0.800000 0.800000</rgb>
              <gamma>2.2</gamma>
            </rgb>
          </constant>
        </albedo>
      </diffuse>
    </material>
    <material> <!-- IgsMaterialType : "IgsDiffuseTransmitter" -->
      <name>Material_54_DiffuseTransmitter</name>
      <diffuse_transmitter>
        <albedo>
          <constant>
            <rgb>
              <rgb>0.800000 0.800000 0.800000</rgb>
              <gamma>2.2</gamma>
            </rgb>
          </constant>
        </albedo>
      </diffuse_transmitter>
    </material>
    <material>
      <name>Material_54</name>
      <blend>
        <a_name>Material_54_Diffuse</a_name>
        <b_name>Material_54_DiffuseTransmitter</b_name>
        <blend>
          <constant>0.050000</constant>
        </blend>
      </blend>
    </material>

    <!-- Material : "Tenda bianca" -->
    <material> <!-- IgsMaterialType : "IgsDiffuse" -->
      <name>Material_55_Diffuse</name>
      <diffuse>

            </rgb>
          </constant>
        </albedo>
      </diffuse>
    </material>
    <material> <!-- IgsMaterialType : "IgsDiffuseTransmitter" -->

Hi Delle,

in this scene the glass of the window has been removed or is still present?

Great images, R.

Removed, but seams that Indigo 1.1.16 produces less fireflies..

Maybe I'm only lucky and no Sun ray intercepts directly the glass...

Carpet seems a bit too small for me.
Nice scene otherwise. :wink:

Curtains are spot on... would love to see a wire frame sometime.

I would just increase the size of the carpet and add some wrinkles. It just looks a tad too "perfect".

Nice delle.

I assume that delle experiences less fireflies because he has full control on light energies.

Are you using real world values for emission, delle ?

I'd said that is pretty neat - looks quite realistic.

Only comment I have is about the carpet. It looks flat because it appears to be perfectly flat! - maybe try a little bumpage to resemble a real world wear and tear?

and maybe the same for the sofa?

Apart from that I like it. Thanks for sharing the images of your work files - always illuminating :lol:

Here is an updare after four days of rendering...

I'll keep it cooking for a while...

..than I'll make some changes to the scene..
