Hi guys! Just a rapid work, testing a 3D grass patch I found in the warehouse
Whole model made in sketchUp6, rendered in 4/5 hours with SkIndigo1.0.8 stable.
Little postprocessing with the background and lighting adjustments.

But the grass patch is 30cmX30cm: random-placing it would be a nightmare!
Now, the grass patch is adjusted into a 1.3x1.3m block (each 30x30cm grass square is differently rotated from the next ones), instanced around. Then, the 1.3x1.3m instanced squares are grouped together, and then spread around..
Still too repetitive, i know...
Room for improvements!
Oh, the whole scene took only 72MB of RAM during the rendering..
