Relatively low-exponent phong, using Al.nk (might be too "grey", experiment), with a brush map in the bump channel.

Wow thats a great render!!!!

TBH I am not sure if its a photo or a render which is always a good indication :)

If it's a render, Delle didn't make it, Deus:
He asked, how to make such a sink mat...
I'm relatively sure that it's indeed a photo...

Hi,

Stainless steel is not available in any nk data provided, and I did not find any to replace it (they all are for electronic application only ). True stainless steel has a very light pink/orange tint and IOR properties varies depending on the metal alloy (some s.steel made objects can be made of nickel alloy without any steel compound in it).
So what I suggest is to make a common phong material and compare the renders with your picture.
Indigo 1.1.11 32bit + Blendigo 1.1.7
My render supercomputer:
  • Acer aspire 5612Zwlmi
  • Intel T2060 dual core 1.6 GHz
  • 1GB RAM
  • vista home premium 32bit
