How to get good leather?

I tried the mat in the DB but it looks a bit too worn out... Im looking to get that "new" look.

and check out the mxm gallery also they have a BUNCH of good ones, the only problem is that you have to find the good settings for them. but the texture images are great.

Ive seen some good renders in the gallary that dont even look like they're using image maps, like this one

Is that just a phong with low ior and exponent?

Why don't you PM BbB about it, he's the one who made the darn scene...and that couche texture definitely uses and image.

No prob. It's the mat from the mat gallery minus the diffuse texture. Works with any colour but even then, it may look a tiny bit worn out owing to the exponent map.
Otherwise, I second Borg's advice as long as you don't need anything too low res. You might also want to check CGTextures.com. I used one of their images to build my leather texture.
