Is it possible to link materials to objects instead of meshs in indigo?
Blendigo can't do it.
P.S.: @SmartDen

Bah! Got a D1 (which is a decade old)? It'll to 1/16000Woodie wrote:I was actually thinking about real camera shutters up to 1/8000s (my camera can do it ;D).SmartDen wrote:no, i don't think so. blendigo use real camera values and i don't think i 'll change it
And ISO range for the recently released D3 is 100 to 256,000, ha
is 1/2000 not enough?! what light sources do you use guys?!
short exposures such 1/8000 or 1/16000 will be needed to short quick moving objects. so what's the problem? indigo don't need it. but if you insist, i'll biuld it in. in't not much work. but i want to keep blendigo 'clean' from needless options

You need it when you render sun lit scenes with very shallow DOF. Obviously you try to use lowest possible ISO and fastest shutter speed, but at 1.4 1/2000 is not enough, and to be honest I wish to have lens with f1.0 (Leica "Noctilux") or even f0.95 (Canon "Dream lens"). You can achieve very interesting effects with this (Like real homes looking like models ).SmartDen wrote:is 1/2000 not enough?! what light sources do you use guys?!

You can leave it be, Smart - any time I need a different exposure than I can get through the GUI I just manually edit the igs. (and typically I just use Reinhard anyway)SmartDen wrote:is 1/2000 not enough?! what light sources do you use guys?!
