yeah, resinstall windows phewww....
Don't wanna
I want it to work. Nothing more!
I've no idea why that stupid dll doesn't work. It's THERE. I found it in both system32 (where you interestingly can find the 64bit dlls) and SystemWOW64.
It also was found on other locations but as I found out via google, that should have been simple to solve: simply rename those dlls so that other programs will search in system32 and systemWOW64...
Edit: OH DAMN
Now it works at first glance but I don't come to the actual editor.
A black screen at first is followed by "This is made for promotional reasons blah", EA, Maxis and finally Spore. After that, it closes.
EDIT 2:
ARGH! Problem found, I think
I hate my DAMN graphics card!!!
It's supposed to be better than the one, I had before but instead, it's simply not supported by most games, it appears
- well, mine uses a driver for either 9550 or X1050 Series...
Do you think, I could risk to install the wrong driver? And if yes, would it be better to use a too old driver or a too new one? (9500 or 9600?)

Mine *shouldn't* have any problems but seemingly it has. It's not the first game which doesn't support this graphics card - from performance-POV, it should work just fine....
Lol about the beefy graphics card. Nah, I wont ever have as long as I relyon my parents, concerning this part
"Low-end isn't low-end enough" so to say xD
Ok, it's not THAT bad... Though, others usually have a better computer than me, on average. (And that, although my father works with computers... )

Hey CoolColJ !
For some reason I lost the thread, I'm sorry ! To answer you, yes its a modular application It won't run anymore because my system needs a reinstall, though for games it's still perfect
nV 6200 AGP4x here (can take 8x, but sucks, no more boards available).

if only all 3D modelling software was this easy....
Here's an awesome video from the folks at Maxis that shows you some cool techniques to create a quite realistic praying mantis. This video shows you just how flexible the creature creator is once you know your way around it. Learning how to merge and modify different parts it seems, is the key to customization.
