very nice!
the perspective is a bit too extreme, so it seems like it's about to collapse :P

hehehhe :D thanx for the comments guys. Yup, the perspective and the camera aperture are a bit exaggerated but it was the only angle I could make the whole building fit the picture. I guess I'll have to move further out and use a regular lens
I'll post some updates soon.

looks really good! watch out for texture repetition though, its a little distracting.

thnx Tom! you know how tough it is to get a really good brick texture. :( they usually tile somewhere. But I'll try to find one and fix it. Meanwhile I made another test with indigos sunlight, and glass materials:

Somehow I tend to like exrs a bit more for the ambiance achieved. But I also know you gotta try everything out to master it!

I'm starting to like the building with just white better:

oh yes, and lit by an exr image

I'll switch. I'll leave what used to be brick in white, and what used to be white change it for a plain color, probably blue. Let's see if the construction guys like this new proposal (don't think so).

here! this is more or less what I would like :

But ppl here are very traditional and bound to using brick on facades :(
Let's see what they decide. I'll also try to take pics of the finished building (in some 6 months, hehehehe).

But this will be my version. I can now work on detailing the model
