Couple of exterior renders

Post by crojack » Fri Feb 01, 2008 10:44 am

been working on these awhile-
All Sketchup/Skindigo with the sky added with PS in the day image, also rendered that one with the new Alpha map. It wasn't completely clear, even after rendering for a few hours, but a quick levels/contrast change in PS fixed that.
let me know what you think.
This is a big model with lots of stuff. I was impressed with the speed of exporting, render is just overnight, would like to have gone longer but deadlines!
I post because there doesn't seem to be a a lot of exterior architectural renders here.

Great work :D :D

you could add a background image on the left and on the right, it doesn't look like city

Thanks,
actually it isn't in a city, small town, and it's more for showcasing the building-but it could use something back there. Sometimes I think of just modeling a bunch of bldgs for backgrounds.

Thanks Whaat,
I rendered them really big, like over 4000 pixels wide, they printed pretty good at 24x36!
