great!
Is it the old or the new sky model?
I'd like to see them in combi
I.e. a window (to test better, with glass), where the cam look up to the clouds

My guess is a custom geometry object for defining the portals. Similar to vray arealights that are turned into sky portals. You just place them into openings from where the light comes in.

Wow, that was really quick. Last week you were talking abt realizing it and now it's already there...
How about a release of 0.9 t1?

Hmm, aren't exit portals kind of a biased idea. Surely with the perfect sampling algorithm you wouldn't have to tell the computer where the light was coming from.
For example if (sometime in the future
) I was do to an animation where the exit was constantly changing and distorting

Then don't use exit portals. The scene will still render... just many times slower.

They're not biased if used correctly, because the scene will render exactly the same with or without them, just faster with them.
Let me know when you find the perfect sampling algorithm

A super cool new feature...
finally I can render the Sibenik cathedral lighten through the windows
Can you tell us if the User Guide of fry render for setting up exit portals can be used 1:1 in Indigo?

Uhm... does someone care to enlighten me? Exit what?
It sounds like something that simply eats up the photons? How does one set them up? Looks great anyway, so I can finally start converting my room to Indigo
Really, I can't wait for 0.9t1... so much great new stuff
Great work

Heya,
it's cool to see some Fryrender technology implemented in another rendering engine.
A little credit both for the tech and the tutorial would have been nice though.
