does anyone know of a tool similar to CADtools for illustrator. It seems like such an interesting piece of software and such a brilliant idea, that it's hard to believe nobody else have tried it wih illustrator or other applications?

TopMod is very much alive now, and we are looking for users and developers interested in contributing to the project. Well, technically, I am looking for people to help out. Right now I'm the only developer on the project except for one guy who is writing a scripting engine for it. You can try out the first version of the scripting engine if you have OS/X, but it doesn't work on Windows yet.

I'll keep you posted as we finish more features. Make sure you watch the video tutorials as many features have changed since the previous version,

JTexSynth

Synthesize tilable textures from a given sample in a java applet. It's not very evolved but may prove usefull.

Does someone know another one of this kind ?

edit: BTW, google does the job :/

Could someone compile this one for win (until I find a binary ;) ) ? <- dont miss the links page !
