FAST unbiased Render Frayrender ?!?!

Here i just want to post a rendere which really confused me so i want to ask which kind of technique use this rendere so fast (as they say) ???

i don't think "physically based" == "physically correct".

It's impressive for handling that poly count though.

i've heard somethin different about the speed.. in the italian maxwell forum they say that maxwell is A LOT FASTER!! didn't test it personally..
