How to apply bump?
Hi, everybody!
If I understood right there is no support of the bump mapping in the Indigo0.62
But maybe there is a way-out? Is it possible to apply bump (or disp) like a modifier?

Not P.P.
I said "modifier" as an example. I know that this function is broken in v0.62
I would like to render an automobile tire with protector. When I was a 3dsmax user I could do this by using such modifier. So I just want to know is it possible to make a displacement with Blender tools?
Sorry for my English

How you apply your bump map? Like UV, Orco, or.....
I tried but Indigo console write me always 0.00000 mutation.... and nothing to see!!
This my code:
</material>
<material>
<name>coccio</name>
<diffuse>
<colour>1.000 1.000 1.000</colour>
<albedo_texture>
<uv_set>uv</uv_set>
<path>laterizio01.JPG</path>
<gain>1.000000</gain>
<exponent>2.300000</exponent>
</albedo_texture>
<bump_map>
<uv_set>uv</uv_set>
<path>bubinga.jpg</path>
<gain>1.630178</gain>
<exponent>1.000000</exponent>
</bump_map>
</diffuse>
</material>

Hi 8bstudio,
what lightning you are using in your scene? And which Indigo version and which Exporter version do you use? Check out the Blender Tutorial at

hi 8bstudio,
i'am not sure if i remember right, i think, bump-mapping was broken in v0.6t1. And v0.6t2 has broken specular-color. All v0.6 versions are for test only... so you could try with indigo v0.5 and the v0.5t7 (highest 0.5) exporter...
zuegs
[EDIT]or was it broken in v0.6t2 At all it's perhaps better to first check it in v0.5 . At all you should first get some mutations while rendering which seems to be a lightning problem and not a bump-mapping problem

2 8bstudio: If you want to apply bump read this
http://jmsoler.free.fr/didacticiel/blen ... ing_en.htm
I didn't use the option 'nor' in the material. The wheel you saw is just a mesh that contains over 100.000 poly.
if you're interested I can explain in detail but a bit later, now i'm very busy.
