Also, I thought about just doing the "I" itself.

It'll look cool if the frames for every update are animated. I'll try to figure something out - I need an easy way to copy the saved png file every time its updated.

zsouthboy that idea is awesome! Showing an SSS indigo "I" illuminating in accelerated rate as the rays scatter in it and become noise free in 2-2.5 seconds, maybe automatically play it in the UI when you start a render or something :D

It cant really be used as a logo you can stamp on renders though.

An animation of the logo getting renderered in indigo (accellerated of course) would be quite neat for the renderer.

Having said that, it could also become quite annoying after a while seing this animation EVERY time you render something with indigo...

I think as the official logo (for the website and such) there has to be a single frame logo. And I like the one from cire most.

@radiance: How tight is the timeframe exactly? Do wo have to decide this week, month or quarter?

I don't want to sound rude, but to my point of view, all those glossy and aqua effects will be outdated quite soon. It's worth for icons, but not for a real logo.
