Great update. Fit to window would be great but the percentages are good enough.
Everyone else is doing it so : Core 2 duo E6600, 2 gb ram, Nvidia 8800 640 GTS and 250 gb hd

Very handy, Ono. I never used bloom before but now as a post effect its all right.

Maybe use tabs to save screen space... anyway good stuff ;)

Just one thing maybe, like when a feature is disabled, like bloom, and I want to tweak it, it still updates although it's not active, maybe disable autoupdating on inactive features untill we activate them... don't know if that's possible...

I will be possible in the future to have the PreS and PostS values go beyond 10, and the possibility to enter manually the values?

Great nick!

When are the open source plans (well, possiblity) for Violet happening?
There are some things I'd like to implement... An example is a preview area - make your adjustments, and you can see a small (100x100), draggable block on the image to preview the effect that will have. Then click "Render" when you're happy, and the whole image is updated.
The ability to set white balance with a dropper - click an area of neutral tone. Integration of the open source noise removing tool that I've forgotten the name.
Ability to combine more than one .igi, to produce a final igi that appears to have rendered for the combined amount of time.
Part of the combine code would allow the Multilight thing to happen - render an igi for each light "group", combine em later - like "Yellow" does (is that actively developed still?)
Drag and drop from explorer onto the main window (Hell, that ones easy to do)
Ability to render the scenefile used as a z-only pass - yeah, I can do it in Blender, but it'll be easier.
Etc. etc. :D

Again, thanks! It kicks ass, what you've done for all of us already!

A great second version Ono!!!

I got a simple question about the possibility of doing DOF inside this Tool!?
It is possible to save depth information for each Pixel inside the igi File?
It would be great to do DOF in Post, just by clicking on the Image for Focus,
and adjust Camera settings for DOF Effects

An Option to save such a DepthMap would be nice too.

A Option to save to UpToDate OpenEXR v1.4.0 Format in 16 or 32 Bit,
able to chose B44 compression etc. would be cool too!

i think it's implemented because of violet not because of the image-format.

Yes, but violet is just a programm to use the advantages of the image format.
One idea: Add a "go on" or "play" button to violet, that automatically reruns the render

I agree that Violet is an awesome tool, but I really think it's features should be incorporated into the main Indigo GUI instead of developing it separately.

[Edit] Not to say Violet shouldn't still be provided and developed for the Sunflow people. :)

no no no this is a terrbile idea. but then again, if I had my way, indigo would be completely CLI only ;)
